Ettinger Avocado Tree
Persea americana x ‘Ettinger’
Originated in Kefar Malal, Israel. Introduced in the U.S. in 1954. Fruit is Fuerte type flesh is clear light yellow, free of fiber, soft, melting, ripens uniformly and has excellent quality. Ripens slightly before and with Fuerte. The tree is vigorous and very prolific. Ettinger is a cold and wind resistant variety grown commercially in Israel.
